Robert E. Dalton
Chief Executive Officer and Shareholder
Bob joined the company in January 2006 after completing a six-month period of consulting where he and the leadership team developed a performance improvement plan addressing all corporate functions. Bob’s technical background is in operations and finance. He has over 25 years of experience in Fortune 250 corporations, including Emerson Electric, General Dynamics and United Technologies, as well as family-owned entrepreneurial organizations.
Director of Business Development and Shareholder
Jim earned his BS in mechanical engineering from the University of Michigan. He has held leadership roles in engineering, production, general management and business development. Prior to joining the company in 1987, Jim worked for the General Electric Company.
Chief Operations Officer
Ashish’s role carries responsibility for engineering, production planning, customer service and operations. He earned a BE in mechanical engineering from University of Pune, India; an MS in industrial operations; and an MBA from Lawrence Technological University. Prior to joining A.B. Heller in 2004, Ashish worked for Thyssen Krupp and the Atlantic and Pacific Tea Company.
Director of Accounting
Maritza earned her BS in accounting from Madonna University. She joined A.B. Heller in 2009 and brought 20 years’ experience in accounting, finance, human resources and system implementation to the organization.
Director of Quality
Robb earned his BS in mechanical engineering from Michigan Technological University. He joined A.B. Heller in 1994 and has held multiple roles in quality and engineering. Robb is a Six Sigma Black Belt and serves as Management Representative for our TS 16949 and ISO 14001 Quality and Environmental Management Systems.
Human Resources Manager
Chris earned her BS in biology from Michigan State University and an MBA from Walsh College. She has been with A.B. Heller since 2010. Along with her human resources experience, Chris brought a broad background in quality, production, employee training and development.
Hsin-Yu (Cindy) Kuo
Manager of Proactive Engineering
Cindy’s group manages new products from development through production launch. She earned her master’s and PhD degrees in mechanical engineering from the University of Michigan, with her research focusing on cutting tool failure mode modeling and analysis. Prior to joining A.B. Heller in 2012, Cindy worked for Cummins’ remanufacturing organization.
Production Services Manager
Don’s group has responsibility for customer service, production planning, purchasing, maintenance and reactive engineering. He returned to A.B. Heller in 2004 with experience in skilled trades, controls engineering and automation.
Manufacturing Engineer for New Technology Integration
Jason earned his Journeyman Machinist’s card from A.B. Heller’s United States Department of Labor Certified Apprentice program. Since joining A.B. Heller in 1994, he has held operator, team leader and proactive engineering manager roles.
Since joining A.B. Heller in 1986, John has held leadership roles in production services, project management, engineering and production. His broad machining and metallurgical experience provides our customers with industry-leading design for manufacture consultation.
